George is co-founder of the firm and a Senior Consultant with the company. For nearly 40 years, he has helped companies and individuals transform themselves to attain goals far beyond what they thought was possible. He is well known for providing breakthrough coaching, consulting and training.
Presently, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Allegiance Bank Texas, a commercial bank serving the financial needs of growing owner-operated businesses in the Houston area. Before starting Chrysalis with Bambi McCullough, George served as Chairman and CEO of a Texas bank that grew to over $3.5 billion in assets. During his 32 years there, he was instrumental in taking the bank public and achieving record profits for 15 consecutive years. Prior to this he spent 10 years as CFO of Retzloff Industries, Inc.
In 2003 George received the Exemplary Leader Award from the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Forum. In 2004 he was awarded the Ethical Leadership in Action Award from the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics. He serves as a Director of NCI Building Systems, Inc., a company traded on the NYSE. George also serves the community as a board member and past chairman of the Center for Houston’s Future, a board member of CHRISTUS Foundation for Healthcare and an emeritus member of the Council of Overseers for the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University. George earned his degree in business administration and economics from Rice University.
